***MEDIA ADVISORY***

A National Day of Prayer for Immigration

Lakewood Church – Houston, TX

Thousands of Hispanic Evangelicals to intercede for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Legislation to pass this year!!!

(Houston, TX) Friday, July 31, 2009 @ 7:30PM, CST at Lakewood Church in Houston.  It is a national call to intercede for comprehensive immigration reform (CIR) legislation to pass this year. We have been promised by the President of the United States, if elected he would do something about fixing the broken immigration system in his first year. Add to that the recent polls that show that 86% of Americans are in support of some type of comprehensive immigration reform legislation, the stage is set and the time is now for it to take place. Nonetheless, it is not going to be easy for our Congressional leaders to pass CIR.

Without divine intervention, immigration reform will not become a reality and can be put on the back burner. We are not going to take those words for granted. We are going to plead our case before the court of heaven for God’s intervention to take a place. We are gathering as a nation to pray for divine breakthrough to manifest over immigration. People say it is too hard and that there is not enough time on the Congressional agenda to pass CIR. We believe that through the power of prayer we can make sure CIR legislation takes place this year.

TBN Enlace, the largest Spanish Christian Network in the world, will be broadcasting live to over 100 nations around the world as Latin America joins with us in this effort. Through the power of television, untold millions will be joining us as we broadcast live into their homes and praying with us for this breakthrough in immigration legislation to become a reality.
